El fuego, de acuerdo a los primeros testigos, inició a las nueve y media de la mañana, sin embargo, los elementos de la policía municipal llegaron a las 10 de la mañana, porque el lugar del siniestro es de dificil acceso.
Igual ocurrió con los elementos del cuerpo de bomberos, que iniciaron las tareas de extinción del fuego aproximadamente a las 10:20 de la mañana.
Los fuertes vientos provocaron la rápida expansión de las lenguas de fuego.
En el sitio se presentó el comandante Cirilo Castro Cosío, quien manifestó que se desconocen las causas que originaron el gran incendio, que ya es recurrente en este lugar.
Dos horas después, los bomberos lograron controlar el siniestro.

Big fire in Los Cabos

A large fire occurred this morning in the nature reserve of Los Cabos.
